Joshua Kaakua serves as the Director of Institutional Effectiveness with the University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges System and leads various Statewide initiatives to promote affordable and open-door access to college education, workforce training, and student support that enables local residents and communities to thrive. His interests include data literacy, academic planning and policy, and college to career pathways. Joshua is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, UH Mānoa, and the University of Southern California.
