Join us as we explore how Dr. Bobbie Reeders, Principal of the Killeen Independent School District's Pathways Academic Program, and Kim Wray, Course Development Specialist at the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance, are using EdReady, a personalized learning platform, to help at-risk and virtual students prepare for college.

Timi Creekmore, of Texas College Bridge, will moderate the discussion, which promises to address ease of implementation, how EdReady differs from other adaptive learning technologies, successes and lessons learned, and how to secure student buy-in and maintain student engagement and motivation.

Director, Texas College Bridge, The Commit Partnership (TX)

Timi has 25+ years of experience in public education, both at the K-12 and higher ed levels. Her passion for helping students led her to The Commit Partnership. She came on board in 2020 to lead the Texas College Bridge college preparatory program shortly after its inception. Texas College Bridge offers an avenue through EdReady, powered by NROC, for students to prepare for college earning an exemption from college entrance exams, allowing them to enroll directly into entry-level college courses. Her hope is for every student to have the opportunity to learn, grow and live successful lives.

Bobbie Reeders has served as Principal for Pathways Academic High School Campus since June 2004. In addition to serving as principal, she is part of the District’s College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) Team and is the director for the district’s credit recovery program. She is an enthusiastic educator with over 27 years of experience in all levels of education, including school improvement.

When asked why she is an educator she smiles and says, “when you have been blessed to have a job that can help others get to a better tomorrow or future, your job is to listen, learn, connect, and empower. In education, you have that opportunity daily.”

Course Development Specialist and Math Lead Teacher, Idaho Digital Learning Alliance

Kim Wray is a passionate educator with over 25 years of experience in the field of education. She is currently a Course Development Specialist and Math Teacher for Idaho Digital Learning Alliance. Kim spent 8 years in higher education with 5 of them serving as a Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Kim holds a Master's degree in Educational Technology and continues to explore new pedagogical approaches to enhance the learning experience.
